The ‘You are not Alone’ website is a resource hub for Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) individuals, families and communities who are affected by gambling problems. This site supports you and your loved ones to find the help that best suits you and your circumstances. Most importantly, it is to help you understand that you are not alone, and that there are many different ways to find solutions to the problems you face.

Australians are the world’s leading gamblers, spending more money on gambling than any other country and ranking number six globally in terms of overall gambling losses. Many of those who start gambling for fun may over time, experience a change in circumstances and develop problems associated with their gambling habits.

The name ‘You are not alone’ was chosen by clients and community members who have sought help from PEACE Multicultural Services of Relationships Australia SA. To learn more about PEACE services go here and other services here.

Over 20 PEACE Community Ambassadors from diverse communities who are passionately committed to addressing prejudices associated with gambling, were involved in the production of this website. They told us that:

‘CALD communities and families should never feel that they are alone because they are not. There are many services that are available to help, no matter how big or small the problem is.’
